Cable bandages are divided in two types. one is FSB-WLS which is applied in interior areas and wet rooms and another is FSB-WB which is used in industrial and outdoor areas. The Wet FSB-WLS cable bandage(PYROWRAP) is the ideal solution to prevent fire spread through large cable bundles or cable support systems within the fire sections. The mesh possesses a fire protection coating, which stops a fire in its tracks at an early stage, e.g. in the case of a short-circuit. If there is fire coming in from the outside, the material is not involved in the course of the fire, effectively preventing the spread of the fire, both in vertical and horizontal directions. The Wet FSB-WB cable bandage(PYROWRAP) is made of weatherproof materials for applications in areas with special ambient conditions. The bandage has construction approval from the DIBt as a highly flame resistant material according to DIN EN 13501-1.
